Is this legal?
PDF Unlock is intended for PDFs you own or have permission to modify — removing restrictions on your own documents or working with files your team produced. Don't use it on documents you have no right to access.
Does it work on macOS?
Not today. PDF Unlock is a Windows-only context menu integration for Windows 10 and 11. A Mac version is on the roadmap.
How fast will I receive my license key?
Keys are sent to your PayPal email address, typically within a few minutes of payment. If you don't see it after 30 minutes, check spam or contact us.
Do files get uploaded anywhere?
Never. All unlocking happens locally on your machine. PDF Unlock does not require an internet connection to process files.
Which PDFs are supported?
All standard PDF versions (1.4 through 2.0). PDF Unlock strips owner restrictions so you can print, copy, edit, and extract content from PDFs you own.
